چکیده
Introduction: Tinospora crispa (T. crispa) is an herbaceous plant that commonly grows wild in tropical regions of South East Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. In this well known to be used a traditional medicine treat gout, diabetes, hypertension, rheumatic, fever, appetite stimulant. Researches worldwide indicate T. poses several pharmacological properties. One those the antioxidant activity, acting free radical scavenger. The objective study was determine antioxidative properties compare different ethanol solvents for extraction. Methods: amount 300 g powder extracted using 70%, 80%, 96% ethanol. spectrophotometry method assess total flavonoid polyphenol contents athe s DPPH assay. Results: 80% had highest content 0.090% ± [0.453%], while indicated lowest 0.038% [3.090%]. case phenolic content, showed result 0.521 [11.341%]. However, value relatively comparable with other solvents. activity shown by 6.46 mg [3.04 mg]. Conclusion: Despite low concentration, successfully determined from Based on antioxidants concentration most ideal solvent extraction crispa.

Phenolic content, antioxidant activity and effective compounds of kumquat extracted by different solvents.
The total phenolic and flavonoid content of extracts from peel of kumquat were higher than those from pulp, and those extracted from immature kumquat were higher than those from mature kumquat. The highest levels of phenolic and flavonoid content were obtained in hot water extracts. The flavonoids of kumquat extracted from hot water were mainly soluble conjugated compounds, including C-glycosid...
متن کاملAnticholinesterase inhibitory activity of quaternary alkaloids from Tinospora crispa.
Quaternary alkaloids are the major alkaloids isolated from Tinospora species. A previous study pointed to the necessary presence of quaternary nitrogens for strong acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity in such alkaloids. Repeated column chromatography of the vine of Tinospora crispa extract led to the isolation of one new protoberberine alkaloid, 4,13-dihydroxy-2,8,9-trimethoxydibenzo...
متن کاملAntioxidant Activity of Orange Flesh and Peel Extracted with Various Solvents
The aim of this study was to investigate the antioxidant activity of orange (Citrus auranthium) flesh (OF) and peel (OP) extracted with acetone, ethanol, and methanol. Antioxidant potential was examined by measuring total phenolic content (TPC), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity (RSA), total radical-trapping anti-oxidant potential (TRAP), oxygen radical absorbance...
متن کاملdetection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts
in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
Evaluation of Analgesic and Antimicrobial Activity of Different Fractions of Crude Methanol Extract of Tinospora Crispa Stem
Tinospora crispa, a plant belonging to the family of Menispermaceae is a well-known traditional medicinal plant used in Bangladesh. This study has carried out to evaluate the analgesic (by acetic acid induced writhing test) activities by using Swiss albino mice as a test animal. At a dose of 400 mg/kg body weight, the crude methanol extract and its other fractions of stem significantly (p<0.05)...
